Do you have a hard time getting your toddler to eat breakfast. As a mother, i know that this is a struggle every morning. He doesn't like eggs on his own so i added a little cheese, turkey sausage, and chopped green beans (really fine) and he loved it. Just by adding a few flavors makes a world of differencce.
Cheesy Scrambled Eggs 3 egg whites 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup milk dash of pepper and/or garlic powder (optional) Whisk all ingredients in a bowl until frothy then pour in a warmed frying pan. Stir as the egg mix is cooking. Eggs are done when firm and not runny. Add veggies or even crumbled turkey sausage to this recipe if desired. Have any other great breakfast recipes? Would love to hear them! Thank you, Mom the Chef ...

I just found this great article
"Diary of a Picky Eater" by Elaine Khosrova http://www.parenting.com/gear-article/Recipes/Picky-Eating/Diary-Of-A-Picky-Eater/1 Lately I have been having trouble getting my 2 1/2 year old son to eat. He all of a sudden refuses to eat any type of vegetables and now he's saying he doesn't like any meats or chicken. The only thing he wants is noodles - any type of noodles but with nothing in it. I will make a noodle stir fry and cut the vegetables really small but somehow he always manages to take every single vegetable out. As for breakfast, that's a whole different story - i have tried everything from pancakes, turkey sausage, to cereals. He takes one bite and then says he isn't hungry. Any moms out there in the same boat as me? Or is this something you went through before that you can lend any advice? I would really appreciate it. ...

My kids love when I make turkey meatloaf. There is always NO leftovers. And they're usually asking for more. Sometimes I make two pans.
Turkey Meatloaf 1lb. ground turkey 1/4 of round onion 2 egg whites 1 tablespoon brown sugar 3/4 cup oatmeal 1/2 cup kethup parsley salt pepper Preheat oven at 350. Mix all ingredients together. Put in a meatloaf pan. Put a little more kethup on th top of meatloaf. Spread all over. Cook for 1 hr and 10 min. Write comment |
